Tool & Die Making is the industrial art of making mechanical tools such as jigs, molds, fixtures, machine tools, cutting tools, gauges, Press Tools etc which allows us to mass produce solid objects. Almost everything you see around you was most probably made by the process of tool & die making. Diploma in Tool and Die Making course helps to nurture the qualities like Analytical skills, Manual Dexterity, Skill Involving Design using computers, Mechanical skills, Physical Stamina and Technical Skills. It is an Industry driven job oriented course.

Admission to the Course of Diploma In Tool & Die Making
Admission to the course is taken through the P.E.C.E (Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination) conducted by J.C.E.C.E.B (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) every year in the month of May-June. The minimum eligibility for appearing for the entrance exam is matriculation pass and the candidate should be a resident of the state of Jharkhand. The entrance examination for P.E.C.E is multiple choice type asking questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from tenth standard. After the results are declared the candidates need to appear for an online counseling where they can opt for the course of Diploma In Tool & Die Making at Jharkhand Government Mini Tool Room & Training Centre Ranchi.   • The trainees are involved in production jobs orders received from our vendors like Tata Motors, Jindal Steel, SAIL, UshaMartin and various MSME’s.
  • Trainees are also involved in Various types of live projects, like making Mould for items like soap case, dustbin pan, hanger Press Tool, Jigs & Fixtures, Design & Building of machines likeHydraulic Trolley, hand moulding machine etc.
