Livelihood Business Incubator Centre at JGTR, Ranchi

The main objective of the Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) is to foster local job creation and reduce unemployment by cultivating a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurial development nationwide. Our primary focus within livelihood incubation is to engage in commercially viable activities that address essential needs, thereby establishing enterprises in rural areas across the country.

Objectives of LBI
  • Establish business incubators to provide comprehensive incubation in various skills for eligible youth, empowering them to launch their own businesses.
  • Deliver entrepreneurship and skill development training to young individuals.
  • Offer mentorship, handholding support, and funding facilitation to enable the establishment of their own business ventures.
  • Promote the development of new low-end technology and livelihood-based enterprises.


Our Approach

JGTR Ranchi is significantly dedicated to empowering the youth. The Livelihood Business Incubation Center at Jharkhand Government Tool Room Ranchi adopts a holistic approach, integrating health, education, skill training, capacity building, and awareness initiatives. Our project efforts are aligned with government development programs, facilitating crucial linkages with public services and schemes for our beneficiaries. This Livelihood Business Incubation Development Center is meticulously tailored to local needs through comprehensive preliminary assessments, ensuring that identified needs shape the final project design and outcomes. Typically, each project is focused on a specific area to maximize impact and ensure sustainable development. Ultimately, our projects aim to empower beneficiaries to become catalysts for change within their communities and regions. The Livelihood Business Incubation at Jharkhand Government's Tool Room Ranchi has been established under the MSME "ASPIRE" program guidelines, undertaking diverse roles to address the multifaceted needs of society, covering numerous areas of interest that will generate enhanced employment opportunities.
